Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really happening.
